Verdict

Vadream won this Group 3 sprint in soft ground last year with Ventura Diamond and recent Ayr Gold Cup winner Summerghand behind. The latter beat previous Stewards’ Cup winner Commanche Falls at Ayr but ROHAAN won the Wokingham over track and trip in June and placed in the Group 1 Sprint Cup at Haydock last month. David Evans’ charge looks worth another chance on that form. Flaming Rib finished behind the selection at Haydock but had the measure of Ehraz when second in the Commonwealth Cup here earlier while Princess Shabnam beat Gale Force Maya in a Listed race at Pontefract in August. Al Suhail is a Group 2 winner over 7f but has yet to race over today’s trip.
