The forecast rain will suit HAMISH and make him hard to beat. He won the Ormonde Stakes back in May and was having his first start since when finishing a close second to Krypios in the Irish St Leger at the Curragh last month. He’s preferred to stablemate Candleford but the Ballydoyle colt High Definition looks a threat if reproducing his second in a Group 1 at the Curragh earlier in the year. Cresta is still improving and won a Listed event at Windsor by over six lengths while Get Shirty was in fine form in top handicaps during the summer, though is closely matched on Ebor form with Euchen Glen who won this in 2020. Third Realm may prove best of the rest.
