Gary Moore introduces a couple of interesting newcomers here in the shape of Swift Sailor and War Pennant, with the former looking the clear pick of the two and taken to make a winning debut at the main expense of Estate and Double Vodka. The selection was a useful stayer on the flat when with Mark Johnston and, while he may want further to be seen at his best, Swift Sailor may have too much class for his rivals. Boulevin was only moderate on the level but already looks to be better over hurdles, while Coming Again is from a yard in form but is proving to be expensive to follow. Estate has more to do under a penalty for his Huntingdon success and of more interest may be Double Vodka, who has proved to be difficult to win with but ran right up to his best when a creditable third behind Wellbeing in a handicap at the Grand National meeting last time. Swift Sailor could be a decent recruit to the novice hurdling ranks though and gets the vote to make a winning debut.
