In depth

Verdict

A competitive handicap with many in with a chance but Swansea Bay, Tell The Trees and Ramblees Holly look the best of them with the vote going to the last named. A winner last time out at Hexham over two and half miles this step up in trip should not pose a problem for Ramblees Holly as he has won around Wetherby over two miles seven and as this is a flat track it wont hinder his chances. Swansea Bay reverts back to hurdles after some poor efforts over fences. Back a few years ago this horse could have picked up his rivals and carry him but enthusiasm is now questioned but if reproducing some of his old zest he would be a danger. Tell The Trees looks a more reliable type but did throw in a poor effort last time out at Stratford. If forgiven that run his previous form reads well so is worth noting. A race with more questions than answers but for the winner we return to Ramblees Holly.
