Verdict

Nobunaga has had a few weeks off but is starting to look well handicapped. Jack The Gent has got his act together but his last two victories have come against novices and he's 20lb higher than when winning at Kelso in April. Fiftyonefiftyone blotted his copybook again at Newton Abbot last time while Unforgettable keeps finding one too good and has a poor strike rate. ANAY TURGE was given a confidence-booster over hurdles at Newton Abbot nine days ago after unseating his rider in the Kempton race in which Unforgettable finished second last month. He surprised everyone by having the pace to win and could land this if carrying over that form. Dineur disappointed at Worcester and wouldn't feature in this with a repeat performance.
