WOGAN is in the form of his life and is taken to see off Sa Suffit, Tatenen and Carlitos in a hotly disputed handicap. Nicky Henderson's ten-year-old has been in great form this year, winning twice since the turn of the year. As a result he has another 9lb rise to contend with but he gets on very well with Andrew Tinkler and the form of his latest Doncaster win looks solid. Edgbriar has also been in good form of late and is a player if lasting home over this longer trip, From Dawn To Dusk ran a blinder at Cheltenham last time and gets on very well with Richard Johnson, whilst Jaunty Flight is better than she was able to show in a bog at Haydock in January. Seven Is My Number and Tatenen are both talented, but over this trip the former is of more interest, whilst Sa Suffit is progressing well but his handicap mark of 150 may be a stumbling block. Au Courant has not quite gone on as hoped but his form has a solid feel to it, Carlitos won readily last time and is unexposed for his age, whilst Dom D'Orgeval looks to be enjoying his racing again and is far from discounted today. Ma Yahab and Never So Blue could bounce back for Venetia Williams, however along with Daldini they are all passed over in favour of Wogan.
