Call The Cops had a number of these behind when staying on strongly to win the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham. But Unique De Cotte and The Tourard Man, who finished second and third, should get closer on today's slightly more favourable terms. Unique De Cotte's trainer David Pipe has won two of the last four renewals and has assembled a strong team again. Serienschock has been knocking on the door while Bygones Sovereign will ensure there is no hanging about. Call The Cops' trainer Nicky Henderson also runs Bear's Affair, Dawalan and Hammersly Lake while Jonjo O'Neill has Join The Clan and the hat-trick seeking Master Malt in the line-up. Paul Nicholls is another double-handed with Katgary arriving off the back of a confidence-boosting success at Newbury. Ulzana's Raid could figure but TAGLIETELLE was making ground hand-over-fist when fourth in the Coral Cup and seems sure to be suited by the step up to 3m so gets the nod in a wide-open finale.
