Broxbourne has been running on the Flat over the summer and the mare stays well so goes on the short-list here. Shutthefrontdoor has his first run since finishing fifth in last season's Grand National here and stablemate Join The Clan also has an absence to overcome but Just A Normal Day, Henri Parry Morgan and Nautical Nitwit have been kept busy, though the latter pair could find a few of these too hot to handle. Shotavodka was only beaten half-a-length at Carlisle last week but his stable is struggling for winners at present. OUR KAEMPFER shaped nicely in a Grade 3 handicap at Chepstow on his reappearance and was third over this course and distance in April. He races off the same mark today so looks the one to be on.
