For the Chairboys, Richard Kone forced Dillon Phillips into a comfortable stop, before the ex-Charlton player was on hand to thwart an effort from Matt Butcher.
The second half was a lot more livelier as both teams went for it.
Ravizzoli again denied Nombe, Odoffin and Wilks, with the latter's strike being tipped onto the post.
Debutant Aaron Morley went close for Wycombe, while Dan Udoh's header missed the target by inches.
But the breakthrough came in the 70th minute and it was for Wanderers.
A long ball played over by Sadlier found Humphreys who did brilliantly to turn the Millers' defence inside out, before unleashing an unstoppable drive beyond Phillips.
Sadlier then wrapped up the win with a penalty with five minutes remaining.
