Callum McManaman added to Dale Taylor's double as Wigan extended their unbeaten run in Sky Bet League One to five matches with a convincing 3-0 victory over Peterborough at the Brick Community Stadium.
After three 0-0 draws in a row, Wigan were up and running inside 11 minutes when Taylor headed home Luke Chambers' cross.
Peterborough responded well and almost levelled when Ricky-Jade Jones' left-wing cross found Kwame Poku. However, England Under-21 goalkeeper Sam Tickle made a stupendous save at point-blank range to keep Wigan in front.

And Shaun Maloney's men never looked back after doubling their advantage four minutes after the restart. Matt Smith's clever reverse ball found Taylor, who drilled the ball under the advancing Jed Steer.
The icing on the cake arrived with nine minutes remaining when Callum McManaman curled in a fantastic right-footed shot over the despairing dive of Steer and into the top corner from the edge of the area.
Wigan managed to keep Posh at arm's length for the rest of the game to secure a fifth clean sheet on the spin.
