Veteran striker Luke Varney scored the winner as Cheltenham triumphed 2-1 at Walsall to extend their unbeaten run to seven league games.
The 37-year-old drilled home just before the hour after Josh Gordon's penalty had cancelled out Ben Tozer's first-half opener for Town.
Varney almost opened the scoring inside 20 minutes but his near-post header from Sean Long's cross was foiled by Saddlers goalkeeper Liam Roberts.
Walsall should have led soon after as Robins stopper Scott Flinders fumbled a routine ball but Gordon steered wide of an open goal.
While Flinders got away with that error, Roberts was punished after 35 minutes as he spilled a corner and Cheltenham skipper Tozer pounced to fire the visitors ahead.
Walsall levelled after 52 minutes as Gordon slotted home his first of the season from the penalty spot after being fouled by Chris Hussey.
But Varney collected Gavin Reilly's pass to fire a 58th-minute winner past Roberts and later saw a header ruled out for offside as Walsall, in 19th, suffered a third straight defeat.
