Tranmere recorded their first League Two victory of the season after beating Walsall 1-0 at Prenton Park.

The visitors had a glorious opportunity to open the scoring in the fifth minute when Jamille Matt was bundled over by Cameron Norman but Matt's penalty was well saved by Luke McGee.
