French Ligue 1 match report: Toulouse v Nantes
Saturday 25 April 2015 22:28, UK
Toulouse missed the chance to pull further away from the Ligue 1 relegation zone as Alejandro Bedoya's late goal earned Nantes a 1-1 draw at the Stadium Municipal.
New Toulouse boss Dominique Arribage appeared to be on course for a fourth victory in five matches when Adrien Regattin scored in superb style midway through the first half but Bedoya headed home in the dying stages to ensure a share of the spoils.
The draw leaves 14th-placed Toulouse a mere two points clear of the relegation zone with four games to go, while Nantes remain in 10th place some seven points clear of the bottom three.
Nantes came into the encounter full of confidence after beating Marseille at home last Friday to move into the top half of the table, but it was Toulouse who had the better of the opening exchanges and they took the lead on 23 minutes in fine style.
Morocco midfielder Regattin collected a pass from striker Martin Braithwaite and unleashed a ferocious shot from outside of the area that beat Nantes goalkeeper Remy Riou and nestled into the back of the net to send the home fans into a frenzy.

Regattin was proving a real thorn in the Nantes players' sides and on the half hour he teed up Oscar Trejo but his shot was blocked by Riou.
Nantes started the second half with purpose and Toulouse keeper Ali Ahamada had to be alert to punch clear a stinging Serge Gakpe shot five minutes after the restart.
Toulouse responded and very nearly doubled their advantage five minutes later but Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik could only head Regattin's probing cross against the crossbar.
The defender's miss came back to haunt Toulouse as they conceded at the death when Bedoya rose highest at the far post to head home Jordan Veretout's corner to silence the majority of those assembled inside the Stadium Municipal.
