Michel Vorm will start in goal as Tottenham look to pick up their first win of the season at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Spurs came from behind to draw 1-1 at Everton on the opening day, but lost first-choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to injury midway through the first half.

The France international now faces around four weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

"We trust in Michel and he was doing well in the pre-season," says Spurs boss Maurico Pochettino. "He played a lot of friendly games, he is ready to compete.

"He is a goalkeeper who has a lot of experience in the Premier League and in internationals. There is no doubt about his quality."

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino confirms his summer spending isn't over

Palace suffered a 1-0 home defeat to West Brom on the opening day and lost to Spurs both home and away in the league last season.

However, they did win on their most recent visit to White Hart Lane in the FA Cup and are close to strengthening their squad with the signing of striker Christian Benteke from Liverpool.

Jordon Mutch and James McArthur could return for Palace and Yohan Cabaye and James Tomkins are also in contention.

Cabaye was part of the France squad that reached the final at Euro 2016 but played for the development side on Monday along with Tomkins, who has been recovering from a hamstring injury after signing in the summer from West Ham.

    Opta stats

Four of the seven Premier League meetings between these sides at White Hart Lane have been draws (two wins for Spurs, one win for Palace).

Crystal Palace have lost four of their last six league games against Tottenham, drawing one and winning the other in Alan Pardew's first game as manager.

Neil Shipperley hit the winner the only time Palace beat Spurs at White Hart Lane in the Premier League, the victory coming in November 1997.

    Erik Lamela celebrates

Harry Kane has gone three Premier League games without scoring for Spurs. The last time he went longer without a goal was at the start of last season, in which he failed to score in opening six matches.

Erik Lamela has had a hand in seven goals in his last seven Premier League appearances (three goals, four assists).

Crystal Palace have won just two of their 20 Premier League games in 2016 so far (W2 D5 L13).

    Paul Merson's prediction

Spurs were disappointing in the first half against Everton, who should have been out of sight at half-time, but they improved after the break.

Palace had a shocking result at home and it looks like they need a forward. Dwight Gayle has gone, Yannick Bolasie just went and they fired blanks against West Brom so it's a bit of a strange one.

Tottenham don't have that problem because Harry Kane gets better as the season goes on and I'm going for a home win.
