Eoin Doyle scored his 14th goal of the season as Swindon extended their winning run to three matches by beating Walsall 2-1 at the Energy Check County Ground.
For the third time this season, Swindon scored within 10 minutes, as Sky Bet League Two top scorer Doyle tapped in from Keshi Anderson's low cross with just five minutes played.
Richie Wellens' side started the second half superbly as well, with Diallang Jaiyesimi scoring in the 47th minute after his shot took a deflection and crept in.
Rory Gaffney reduced the arrears in the 54th minute by heading in a free-kick that Swindon goalkeeper Steven Benda failed to claim, which left his goal gaping and Gaffney took full advantage.
The weather conditions made it difficult for both sides to create clear-cut chances.
Walsall pressed for their leveller but failed to properly test Benda, while Rob Hunt had a shot saved for Swindon, with his long-range effort skidding into the grateful arms of Jack Rose.
