Scunthorpe got one over promotion rivals Bradford with a dramatic 3-2 victory in Sky Bet League One on Sunday.
Matt Crooks' late header lifted the Iron up to fourth and above the Bantams in the table, keeping their faint hopes of automatic promotion alive.
Ivan Toney had earlier scored twice for Scunthorpe, either side of Bradford goals netted by Kevin Toner and Alex Jones.
It took less than three minutes for Scunthorpe to find the opener via Toney, who slammed the ball into the roof of the net after being given too much space in the six-yard box from a corner.
The Iron's defending was just as bad at the other end in the 14th minute, though, as Toner found himself completely unmarked at the far post to head home from a Bradford free-kick.
And in the 16th minute Bradford took the lead through Jones, who finished from just inside the area after a swift counter-attack.
Bradford pressed for a third until early in the second half, but were pegged back after 48 minutes thanks to a fine goal by Toney, improvising with a clever overhead kick for his second of the afternoon.
The Bantams went back in search of the lead, but it was Scunthorpe who grabbed the winner seven minutes from time, as Crooks rose unmarked to head home from a corner.
