There are no fresh injury concerns for Ross County ahead of their game against Rangers on Sunday, live on Sky Sports 2, with Jim McIntyre's men looking to arrest an alarming slump in form.
Despite a promising start, County have failed to build on last season's sixth place finish and have now gone nine games without a win, a run which has seen them sink to second bottom of the table.
There have been brief flickerings of hope during that time, including goalless draws at Ibrox and against Hearts at Tynecastle but they sit just one place above struggling Dundee.
McIntyre said: "This will be Rangers' first visit here in the SPFL, so we are looking forward to it and I'm sure our fans are.
"It's up to us to show that togetherness and go out there and put on a spirited performance, which will hopefully enable us to have a chance of getting three points.
"It's important that everybody remembers we are four points away from sixth place. It just shows the nature of the league this season."
Rangers, by contrast, have moved into second spot having taken 10 points from their last four games, including a 3-0 win over Kilmarnock described by manager Mark Warburton as "a very good performance".
Regarding the visit to the Highlands, Warbuton said: "The Ross County game marked the start of the upturn in form we were looking for.
"We created a lot of chances that day but didn't get the rewards, unfortunately. We know they are a very good side and some of their results of late haven't reflected the quality of their performance.
"We know the quality they possess within their ranks, we know how well they are managed and there is no doubt it is a tough place to go to. But we are looking forward to it."
Danny Wilson is back in the reckoning for the Light Blues after recovering from a thigh muscle tear but Jordan Rossiter (calf) is still out.
Joey Barton has returned to training following a club suspension but will not be considered for first-team duty while former QPR team-mate Niko Kranjcar faces at least six months out with a cruciate ligament injury.
