Atletico Madrid will be looking for a fourth consecutive La Liga win at the Bernabeu when they travel across the city to face Real Madrid on Saturday.

Diego Simeone's men have been victorious in their last three trips to their local rivals in the league, although were beaten 3-0 by Real in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

While Zinedine Zidane has little to offer by ways of explanation, he did say his side would be prepared for the Madrid derby and that he is focusing on the game rather than his managerial future.

"I've not got an explanation for it [Atletico's wins]. Sorry, but that's the way it is. We'll see tomorrow. I'm not hungry for revenge exactly, just eager to overcome this challenge," the Frenchman told a pre-match press conference.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick for Real Madrid during a 3-0 win in the reverse fixture

"There are three points on the table. We won in the first game this season, but we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. We're all very much looking forward to playing the derby.

"I am not preparing anything. All I am focused on is what's left of the season. You know the stature of this club, I know it too, and I know what it means to coach Real Madrid, for better or for worse.

Atletico have responded well to their 2014 Champions League final defeat, losing only one of the last 10 Madrid derbies

"I am ready for anything and that is why I only speak about the next game, that is all I am interested in. We are here to do all we can to win and then people can have their opinions. We are committed and we want to do a good job.

Highlights of Real Madrid's 4-2 win over Leganes

Zidane is expected to recall Real's star men with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos all rested for the midweek 4-2 win at Leganes, while Rapahel Varane remains out with injury.

Alongside their three Bernabeu wins, Atletico are also unbeaten in seven games ahead of the European tie against Leicester on Wednesday and Antoine Griezmann believes his team should be in a positive mindset as they aim for another away win over their bitter city rivals.

"I always have the utmost confidence in my team-mates and I would go as far as to say that I fancy us to get a positive result on Saturday," Griezmann said.

"We are calm, working on tactics and preparing ourselves for the match and working hard to be in the best possible state. It is an important game for our fans and for us, so we hope it turns out well."
