Danijel Pranjic scored a last-minute penalty to earn Heerenveen a dramatic 3-2 win at PSV Eindhoven. Reigning champions PSV had led at half-time, only to see their attempts at a successful defence of their title suffer another crushing blow. Heerenveen started the match level on points with PSV and the visitors were in front on 15 minutes through Paulo Henrique. Balazs Dzsudzsak equalised on 26 minutes and, five minutes later, PSV took the lead courtesy of Timmy Simons. Henrique's second of the game brought Heerenveen level on 51 minutes before Pranjic converted a late penalty after PSV's Jason Culina had been sent off. The result leaves PSV 15 points adrift of leaders AZ Alkmaar, while Heerenveen leapfrogged their opponents into fourth spot.
