Plymouth 2-0 Charlton: Ryan Hardie, Niall Ennis help Argyle strengthen grip on second spot
Saturday 4 March 2023 18:46, UK
Plymouth remain second in Sky Bet League One after getting back to winning ways at Home Park as second-half goals from Ryan Hardie and Niall Ennis secured a 2-0 victory over Charlton.
Argyle have now won 15 and drawn one of their 17 home league games.
Hardie pounced as Charlton centre-back Luca Ness failed to control a bouncing ball in his own half.
Hardie raced on with the ball and clipped it over advancing keeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer in the first minute of the second half.
It took the Scottish striker's tally to 16 goals and made up for a stoppage-time miss in the first half.
