French Ligue 1 report: PSG 3 Toulouse 1
Saturday 21 February 2015 19:22, UK
Paris St Germain moved to the top of Ligue 1 as Adrien Rabiot's brace helped guide them to a 3-1 win over Toulouse.
Rabiot's double had the champions two ahead and, while Wissam Ben Yedder pulled a goal back for the visitors, PSG skipper Thiago Silva sealed the win.
Both Lyon and Marseille could remove Les Parisiens from the summit with wins on Sunday but Laurent Blanc's men look to be finding their form at the right time after making it six league games unbeaten.
Toulouse had the first chance as Javier Pastore's mistake allowed Aleksandar Pesic a chance at goal but the Serbian fired over the bar.
And it was PSG who took the lead just before the half-hour through Rabiot. Pastore found Zlatan Ibrahimovic who backheeled into the path of Rabiot with the 19-year-old firing home.

Ezequiel Lavezzi had the chance to extend the lead moments later when he connected with Edinson Cavani's cross but Ali Ahamada turned his volley wide.
Abel Aguilar got a head to Etienne Didot's cross just before the break but Salvatore Sirigu kept his side ahead at half-time.
And two minutes after the break PSG had their second, with Pastore going on a mazy run and finding Rabiot who slotted home from close range.
Toulouse are scrappy, though, and grabbed a goal back just four minutes later as Pesic flicked Adrien Regattin's free-kick to the far post where Ben Yedder met the ball with a diving header.
That seemed to fire the home side into life and Ibrahimovic nearly reopened the two-goal deficit moments later as he gathered Cavani's pass and surged into the box before firing wide.
The Swede then turned provider when his cross found Cavani but the forward missed the target with his header.
PSG had their tails up and the third goal eventually came 16 minutes from time as Silva headed home following a goalmouth scramble.
