Josh Ruffels hit a stunning stoppage-time winner from 25 yards as Oxford came from behind to beat Wycombe 2-1 in an incident-packed derby.
The win stretched Wanderers' winless run stretched to 10 games, and they were left kicking themselves as they missed a penalty in the first half.
The Chairboys went in front after 21 minutes when goalkeeper Simon Eastwood completely missed Joe Jacobson's free-kick and after the ball was helped back in, Adam El-Abd hooked it over the line.
But the U's were level nine minutes later with Jerome Sinclair converting Marcus Browne's right-wing cross.
Wycombe had a great chance to regain the lead in the 37th minute after Ruffels brought down Alex Samuel in the box. But Jacobson fired the spot-kick wide of Eastwood's left-hand post.
In the second half, Oxford's Rob Dickie had a header from a corner blocked on the line, and Adebayo Akinfenwa headed against the bar before Ruffels settled it in style.
