Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger bemoans Sunderland stalemate

Arsene Wenger was left frustrated after Arsenal's hopes of finishing second in the Premier League were ended by a 0-0 draw at home to Sunderland.
The result should be enough to secure third place for the Gunners, though, as they are now three points ahead of Manchester United with a superior goal difference.
But boss Wenger was disappointed his team failed to score for the third home match in a row as Sunderland held on to secure their Premier League survival.
"We want more and it is frustrating because you like to score goals and go forward," Wenger told Sky Sports. "When you are at home and you can't score, it's always frustrating.
"We couldn't score and they defended well. We tried and tried but they had good chances on the break and maybe we were a bit lucky.

"We gave a lot on Sunday (against Manchester United) to come back and you could see that the legs were not completely there tonight."
Arsenal will now finish their league campaign with another home match against West Brom before facing Aston Villa in the FA Cup final.
"We want to finish with a win at home and give our fans the end of season they deserve," said Wenger. "It's important we win on Sunday (against West Brom).
"We are solid, at least we didn't concede and got an important point that shows how important the point was at United on Sunday."
Asked about the performance of Jack Wilshere, who made his first start since November, Wenger said: "He gave a lot, like all the team, he had some very good movement, good acceleration... We are frustrated we didn't score but he played well."
Wilshere is expected to be in the England squad announced on Thursday, but forward Danny Welbeck is a doubt because of an ongoing knee problem.
"Welbeck has a test on Saturday or Sunday. We'll know more about it then," Wenger said.
