Dick Advocaat says Sunderland gave everything they had in the 0-0 draw with Leicester

Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat was content with just a point from Saturday’s home game with Leicester, even though the Black Cats are not yet certain to avoid relegation.
A win would have assured Advocaat’s men of Premier League survival but it was Leicester who were celebrating safety at the end of a hard-fought 0-0 draw, while Sunderland are facing a nervous few days.
Hull's defeat at Tottenham means the Black Cats need just a point to be mathematically sure of staying up but they have two very tough away games left – at Arsenal on Wednesday and Chelsea next Sunday.
However, they will be safe whatever happens in those games, if Hull cannot beat Manchester United at the KC Stadium in their final match.
Sunderland had the more chances against an in-form Leicester side and Advocaat was happy with his players.

“I cannot give any complaints to my team for what they did today," he said. "They worked so hard to get a better result. They did everything, they do not have more.
"Leicester did well over the last two weeks, us as well. We have only lost one of our last six games, so that is not so bad.
"You always like to have more but I can live with one point."
Sunderland won at Everton last week and Advocaat added: "Last week, if you had said beforehand, you get four points out of two (games), then we would be very happy.
"I think we have to be happy with the four points.
"We still have everything in our own hands – and we have two easy games!
"The last game is Hull against Manchester United and I think Manchester United would like to come third.
"But we have to look to ourselves. We have to go out in that kind of game, and get a point. Why is it not possible to get a point? I have a good feeling about that."
