West Brom manager Tony Pulis denied his side got the rub of green following their goalless draw with Sunderland.
The hosts were aggrieved that Joleon Lescott wasn’t sent off for an early foul on Danny Graham and also had complaints about a goal that was ruled out for offside.
But Pulis told Sky Sports: “The lad who has fallen down with Joleon - he has just fallen over.

“The second one, (Jermain) Defoe is in Ben’s (Foster’s) line and he is offside, is that interfering with play? I don’t know what he gave it for. He couldn’t have given it for (Adam) Johnson because he wasn’t offside but I don’t know the offside rule - like everybody else!”
Chances were at a premium at the Stadium of Light but Pulis said he was pleased to take a point after a battling display.
“To come away with a point is a great result,” he said. “The first 25 minutes we were ok, played some good stuff, then we went away from what we were trying to do and got a bit stretched.
“But they had a couple of bad results and were up for it. Gus (Poyet) put the letter out to the supporters and they cheered for everything and got behind their team.
“We have come here and not played half as well as we have of late, but they battled and kept going and were really resolute which is lovely against any team.”
