West Brom boss Tony Pulis hailed the attitude of Brown Ideye after the Nigerian helped West Brom earn a 2-0 win over Swansea.
Goals from Ideye and Saido Berahino ensured that West Brom pulled further clear of the relegation zone, and that Pulis' impressive start continued.
Ideye almost left the club in January, but his move to Qatar was blocked after the Baggies failed to secure the services of Carlton Cole.
Since then, the club-record signing has scored two in two and Pulis had praise for him on and off the pitch.
"He is a good lad, there is nothing wrong with him as a person," Pulis told Sky Sports. "He has a good attitude. He trains well and works hard.

"It didn’t work out for him at first, but we have given him his chance, and he has taken it. Everybody in the dressing room is really pleased for him."
Pulis has often built his sides on being resolute, especially on home soil, and with Swansea never really threatening Ben Foster's goal, it was a job well done according the West Brom boss.
"We have got to win games at home and make this place a fortress," Pulis added.
"Nobody can deny that we deserved to win tonight. Two goals from strikers too. Very pleasing."
New West Brom captain Darren Fletcher has backed strike duo Berahino and Ideye to fire the Baggies away from danger.
"They were both fantastic, first and foremost their work-rate and desire, then their quality and the second was a perfect strike-partnership goal." Fletcher said.
"They worked extremely hard, Saido had a really tough shift. He had to drop into midfield as well and then had to get forward but he did it, never moaned, got on with it and got his rewards with the goal which his performance deserved."
