Premier League: Burnley manager Sean Dyche hails Scott Arfield's goal in win over QPR
Sunday 11 January 2015 09:31, UK
Sean Dyche praised Scott Arfield's 'absolutely tremendous' goal that gave Burnley all three points over QPR.
Dyche was delighted to see his team move out of the relegation places after a home win against fellow strugglers QPR
Arfield scored the opener before Danny Ings grabbed the second goal after Charlie Austin's equaliser but it was Arfield’s individual effort that had Dyche in awe after the game.
"Scotty Arfield's goal was absolutely tremendous - if that had been Alexis Sanchez that gets showed 1,000 times over the weekend,” he said.

“We'll be lucky if we get 50 but joking apart we are happy with that, we stay under radar.
"But that was an absolutely top-drawer goal, two nutmegs and a fine finish using one of their players as a screen to just shape it around."
Burnley are now 17th in the Premier League, one point and two places above QPR, who are still yet to pick up a point away from home this season.
Dyche said both teams should be praised for coping with the strong winds and sleet on a miserably day in Lancashire.
"Both sides deserve credit because the conditions were atrocious, the wind was playing havoc and both sides tried to play,” he said.
"We could have had the game under control more easily, that said QPR never stopped coming and we didn't have that final finish and their keeper made two absolutely fantastic saves.
"There is a long way to go yet but we are developing and becoming more clinical in the final third. Our mantra has always been one game at a time, it was a very good performance today and the players handled it very well."
