Premier League: Sean Dyche says belief is back in Burnley side after Leicester draw

Burnley boss Sean Dyche felt his side fully deserved a share of the spoils as Ross Wallace helped them grab a dramatic 2-2 draw against Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

Substitute Wallace scored a dramatic 96th minute equaliser to earn a draw at the fellow promoted side.

Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez teed up Jeffrey Schlupp to put the Foxes ahead and then restored the hosts' lead after Michael Kightly had equalised in the 39th minute, but Scotsman Wallace curled home deep into stoppage time.

I want them to play at this level, they've earned the right and now it's about freeing themselves up and believing.

Asked if he felt his side deserved a point, Dyche told Sky Sports: "Absolutely. I thought we were very good today. The belief flooded back into the team even with the injury troubles we've got. We spoke about it in the week and the belief in each other as a group.

"I thought Wardy (Stephen Ward) was terrific going as an out-and-out left-back really into midfield.

"Scotty Arfield today, I must say, how he's not in the Scotland squad (for their Euro 2016 qualifying matches against Georgia and Poland) I'm absolutely flummoxed. I thought he was absolutely top draw today.

"I thought there was some good play in general today and we created chances. We obviously know we have got to be more clinical. We've got to create a better quality of chances of course.

"Today, I thought we went on the front foot from the off. A lot more freedom came into the game and the players know that. I want them to play at this level, they've earned the right and now it's about freeing themselves up and believing."
