World Cup: Safet Susic hints he may be ready to leave Bosnia post
Wednesday 25 June 2014 09:48, UK
Safet Susic has hinted that he may decide to walk away from his post as Bosnia-Herzegovina coach after the World Cup finals.
The 59-year-old is assured of his place in the history books having guided Bosnia to their first major finals appearance as an independent nation.
Things have not gone entirely to plan in Brazil, with back-to-back defeats suffered at the hands of Argentina and Nigeria.
Bosnia are now destined to be on the first flight home, with one final Group F fixture to take in against Iran on Wednesday.
An investigation into what went wrong can then begin, with Susic revealing that he may open the managerial door for somebody else to build towards Euro 2016.

He said: “It is going to be difficult for me, but the day will come to bid my farewell to the team.
He added that he expects to make an announcement ‘in the next 10 days’.
Susic’s focus for now is on Iran and attempting to end a campaign which has brought mixed emotions on a high.
He said: “We did something great which no-one has done before.
