Slovakian striker off to Germany
Hearts have lost out to German second division outfit Kaiserslautern in the race for Adam Nemec.
The SPL side had been in talks with the 23-year-old striker, but failed to agree terms.
As a result, the Slovakia international has now completed a move elsewhere.
With three years still to run on his contract at Racing Genk his former employers could demand a fee, but the player's agent expects a deal to go through without a hitch.
"Adam was interested in Hearts but we could not agree a deal," said Karol Csonto.
"He decided to move to Germany. He has signed a three-year deal with Kaiserslautern."
Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo remains determined to add to his attacking options ahead of the new season and will continue to scour Europe for suitable new recruits.
