Morecambe denied by late strike
Lincoln defender Paul Green earned his side a fifth draw in their last six games as his sweet late strike secured a 1-1 draw at Morecambe.
Green beat Barry Roche with a low left-foot shot from the edge of the area with seven minutes remaining to give the Imps a share of the spoils.
Peter Jackson's side, who spent much of the game on the back foot, almost claimed victory a few moments later when Dany N'Guessan's shot hit the post with Roche beaten.
Morecambe controlled the early stages with skipper Jim Bentley giving them an 18th-minute lead with a header from a Craig Stanley free-kick.
Bentley was denied a second a minute later as Rob Burch saved superbly, while Morecambe keeper Roche also made smart saves to deny Anthony Elding and N'Guessan.
