Hull weighing up an offer for Spurs stopper
Phil Brown has spoken to Tottenham Hotspur defender Ricardo Rocha regarding a possible move to Hull City.
Reports have linked Rocha with a season-long loan switch to the KC Stadium as Brown looks to add experience to his back-line.
Rocha endured an injury-plagued past season at White Hart Lane and is a back-up member of Juande Ramos' squad.
Tigers boss Brown confirmed he has held talks with Rocha, but has yet to decide on an offer for the Portuguese stopper.
Progress report
"At this stage it's just about talking to players, inviting them in and seeing the whites of their eyes," Brown told the
Hull Daily Mail.
"We've had a bit of a conversation with the player about whether or not he would be keen on coming to Hull City.
"I don't think people see a small club when they see Hull City, they've probably got a judgement call on how quickly the club can progress.
"I know what the player is capable of, but it was a progress report on how he would feel about coming here."
Meanwhile, South African striker Delron Buckley will play for Hull in either a friendly against North Ferriby United on Monday or Winterton the following night.
Brown added: "Delron Buckley will play a full game on either Monday or Tuesday night, I haven't quite decided on that one, but a full game will be better for him."
