Striker Martyn Waghorn returns to the Rangers squad for Saturday's Scottish Premiership fixture against Partick Thistle at Firhill - live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 12pm - after recovering from a rib injury.

Josh Windass has also returned to training after suffering an ankle knock in the 1-0 victory over Dundee last weekend.

Jordan Rossiter (calf) remains on the sidelines along with fellow midfielder Niko Kranjcar (knee).

Thistle have no fresh injuries for the derby clash with goalkeeper Tomas Cerny pushing for a return to action following a foot injury after making the bench in last weekend's 2-0 defeat by Motherwell.

Ryan Scully (shoulder), Mustapha Dumbuya (Achilles) and Stuart Bannigan (knee) are still out, while Gary Fraser continues to work his way back from a knee problem.

The Jags lost 2-0 to Rangers in the reverse fixture at Ibrox on October 1 with Kranjcar and Andy Halliday scoring the goals in the first half.
