We asked Sky Sports expert Niall Quinn to grade every Premier League team on their weekend displays.
There were victories for Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, while Swansea won the match of the weekend as they overcame Crystal Palace in a nine-goal thriller.
But what did Quinn make of each team? Read on for his verdict...
Arsenal: B+
Arsenal were not as convincing in their 3-1 win over Bournemouth as the scoreline suggests when you look at it on a Monday morning. Alexis Sanchez gave a star performance both on and off the ball for them, and that allows me to give them a B+.
Chelsea: B+
Chelsea are purring along and I really like everything they are doing. Tottenham took the lead against them on Saturday, but they came back to earn a 2-1 win. Victor Moses has been a revelation and his display was superb once more.
Stoke: B+
Stoke were mean and tough and were everything you'd expect from them when they are playing well. I'll give them a high mark for continuing to do what they do.
Liverpool: B+
Liverpool did everything that was asked of them in the win over Sunderland, although the injury to Philippe Coutinho looks to be an unfortunate one.
West Ham: B+
Slaven Bilic has been under serious pressure, so to go to Old Trafford and get a point is really good for him. He and his West Ham players deserve a good grade from me for that.
Manchester City: B
The fact Man City played in Europe in midweek might have been evident as they came from behind to beat Burnley. They were dogged, determined, resolute and they got the win, which is what it's all about in the end. These results mean as much to a manager as the five-star 5-0 wins.
Southampton: B
Southampton enjoyed a great result against Everton, spoiling the homecoming of former manager Ronald Koeman. It was a great team effort and I think Claude Puel has done really well to get the players playing for him. Their centre-back, Virgil van Dijk, is as impressive a footballer as I've seen in many a day. For his performance alone, I will give them a B.
Swansea: B+
Swansea won the game of the weekend after beating Crystal Palace 5-4, but I can't give them an A because the defending was atrocious from both teams. Swansea finally got a first win for their manager, Bob Bradley, and to do it under such circumstances was great. They get a B+, despite the defending.
Crystal Palace: B-
Palace may have let a win turn into a defeat against Swansea, but there's something I like about them. They never say die and they scored four goals away from home. They really played their part in a wonderfully entertaining game, but I have to point to the defending. At both Swansea and Palace, I'd suggest giving the strikers a couple of days off and remarshalling those defences.
Bournemouth: B-
Bournemouth deserve a positive mention, even though they lost to Arsenal because they never lay down. At 1-1 they looked like the most likely side to take the lead for a period and if Petr Cech hadn't made a save from Benik Afobe late on, they might have got a point from the game. It was a plucky performance.
Hull: B-
Hull got themselves a vital point against West Brom and I think the draw meant more to them than it did to their opponents. They have stopped the rot and it was a very encouraging display.
Middlesbrough: B-
I thought Middlesbrough were decent in their previous game against Chelsea and there was more to like in the draw with Leicester. They had the look and feel of winners for the majority of the match and it was a good away performance against last year's champions.
Burnley: C+
They produced a decent display against Manchester City, especially after that heavy defeat to West Brom on Monday Night Football. I was a bit worried they would be exposed as a team that was starting to struggle, but they had a fair share of the game.
Leicester: C+
Things were looking bad for Leicester for long periods of their game against Middlesbrough. They got back into it with a late penalty and earned a 2-2 draw and for that, I have to give them a C+. Claudio Ranieri has work to do there.
West Brom: C+
West Brom have been on a decent run. They played well on Monday night against Burnley and will be disappointed not to have taken all three points against Hull after leading for a long period. This was a 'C+' performance from them.
Manchester United: C
I expected Manchester United to beat West Ham and get themselves back into contention at the top of the table, but it didn't happen. Furthermore, the manager got himself sent off so the headlines are all negative on Monday morning.
Everton: C-
Romelu Lukaku promised to be the main man for Everton this season and on occasions like this - cold away days in November - you'd like to see more, but it didn't happen for him. This wasn't the worst performance ever, but it was a disappointment.
Sunderland: C-
Sunderland played so well for 75 minutes against Liverpool, before two late goals saw them defeated. They had two buses parked for long periods of that game and did the defensive side well before fading away.
Tottenham: D+
Spurs took the lead against Chelsea, but let it slip away. I have spoken about the strength of Arsenal and Man City digging results out despite not playing particularly well, but Spurs aren't doing that. They are in the doldrums at the moment. Is it a crisis? No, but it's not a time when they will be happy.
Watford: D-
Watford were missing something in the defeat to Stoke. There were a few things wrong with their performance, not least Christian Kabasele not being ready to come on as a substitute; that was awful to see. There was also a late red card, so there's a lot for Walter Mazzarri to worry about.
