UEFA charges Turkey and Croatia after Paris incidents

UEFA have charged Turkey and Croatia for various offences during their Euro 2016 game in Paris on Sunday.

The Turks have been charged for letting off fireworks and throwing objects, while the Croats have also been charged with letting off fireworks, and additionally for a pitch invasion.

There was brief fighting between the two sets of fans ahead of the game, which Croatia won 1-0.

This case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body at its next ordinary meeting on 21 July.

UEFA has also opened disciplinary proceedings against Russia over the behaviour of their supporters at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.
