NOTABLE ABSENTEES
Wayne Rooney - 6.99
With just seven Premier League goals so far this season, eight Englishmen have scored more than England captain Wayne Rooney. Kane and Vardy have scored well over three times as many, while Sturridge has netted one more (eight) from half the number of appearances.
Raheem Sterling - 6.78
Following a £50m move last summer, it's been a disappointing start to life at Manchester City for Raheem Sterling, who has scored a modest six goals and registered only two assists. His goal against bottom club Aston Villa in March is his only league strike since the turn of the year.
John Stones - 6.82
After a summer of hype surrounding a potential move to Chelsea, John Stones has recorded an underwhelming 6.82 WhoScored rating. Suffering in a struggling Everton side, the youngster committed three errors leading directly to goals, with the Toffees conceding considerably more goals with Stones (1.6 per game) than without him (one per game).
Gary Cahill - 6.81
A mainstay in qualifying for England, Cahill has been left frustrated at Chelsea, making his fewest league appearances (22) in a single season since the 2006/07 campaign with Villa.
Theo Walcott - 6.58
It's been a disappointing campaign for Walcott who, whilst being rotated with Olivier Giroud, has still only managed five league goals this season, missing 11 clear-cut chances. His WhoScored rating ranks 82nd of the 119 England players to make 10 or more Premier League appearances.
GOALKEEPERS
Fraser Forster - 6.74
Saints have won 64.7 per cent of the matches Forster has started compared to 30 per cent when he hasn't this season, and conceded significantly fewer goals per game (0.94 down from 1.2).
Joe Hart - 6.73
Hart has tended to save his best performances for Europe, with a WhoScored.com rating of 6.94 in the Champions League, though no keeper has kept more clean sheets in England's top-flight this season (15).
Ben Foster - 6.72
Foster's save success rate of 72.4 per cent ranks seventh of the 26 keepers to make more than 10 appearances this season.
DEFENDERS
Danny Rose - 7.25
The Spurs man ranks among the top ten full-backs for tackles per game (2.8), as well as dribbles (1.2), key passes (1) and shots (1.1) at the business end for Tottenham.
Kyle Walker - 7.22
The 25-year old ranks fifth of all full-backs for both tackles (86) and interceptions (90) this season, and sixth in terms of chances created (33).
Chris Smalling - 7.17
The former Fulham man is now England's first choice centre-back and for good reason, helping to keep more clean sheets from a starting berth at the back than any other Premier League player (17).
Phil Jagielka - 7.16
Everton may have been shaky at the back all season long but have conceded considerably fewer goals per game with their captain starting (1.25) than without him (1.76).
Simon Francis - 7.15
With strong averages across the board, including 2.6 tackles and 2.3 interceptions per game, Francis' tally of four assists is bettered by only one other defender in England's top-flight.
Eric Dier - 7.07
Establishing himself as a mainstay for Tottenham in midfield this season, Dier's versatility has been a real plus, winning back possession with 2.1 tackles and 2.2 interceptions while controlling play from deep with the most passes per game (55.8) for Pochettino's men.
Scott Dann - 7.05
The top-scoring centre-back in the Premier League with five goals, Scott Dann is a fan favourite at Palace and has put his body on the line to block the most shots in the top-flight (45).
MIDFIELDERS
Dele Alli - 7.35
With 10 goals and nine assists, Dele Alli has had a direct hand in more goals than any other player in Europe's top five leagues under the age of 21. With a further 2.2 tackles and 1.8 interceptions per game he has proven to be a superb all-round midfielder.
Ross Barkley - 7.33
Although his season has tailed off in accordance with Everton's demise there is no doubt this was a breakthrough season for Barkley, with eight goals and eight assists in the league.
Michail Antonio - 7.32
Having failed to start a league game for West Ham until December, Antonio has had a direct hand in 10 goals since (seven goals, three assists) and impressed on both flanks as well as right-back under Bilic.
Danny Drinkwater - 7.26
Of all Englishman to make 20+ appearances in the Premier League this season, only Gareth Barry has averaged more passes per game than Drinkwater (56.2), with five of the midfielder's seven assists teeing up Jamie Vardy goals.
James Milner - 7.21
With 11 assists in the league this season - eight of which have come since the turn of the year - only three players have managed more than Milner, who has the most of any Englishman in the Premier League this season.
Jordan Henderson - 7.19
