The secret to Arsenal and Chile star Alexis Sanchez's success has been revealed: his Rocky-style training regime!
The forward scored twice as his country booked a Copa America quarter-final spot in the early hours of Wednesday morning and later took to Instagram, where he posted a video of himself training hard.
From sprints on the beach and working out in the gym with his dogs to long runs in the countryside and along roadsides, where he was cheered on by fans, it appears Sanchez has been putting in the hard yards.
The video plays to the tune of Survivor's Eye of the Tiger, the iconic soundtrack to the Rocky boxing movies. And in a homage to the films, Sanchez runs up the Art Museum steps in Philadelphia, just as Sylvester Stallone's character did in the movies.
Sanchez even shows off his shadow boxing skills at the top and poses alongside the Rocky statue. Philadelphia was the host city for Chile's Copa America win over Panama.
