Christian Eriksen says Denmark are prepared for the Republic of Ireland's counter-attack in their World Cup play-off.
The sides meet in Copenhagen on Saturday in the first leg of the play-off, which is live on Sky Sports Football and Main Event.
The Tottenham midfielder, who has played a major part in Denmark's qualifying campaign scoring eight goals along the way, is under no illusions about the quality of the team standing between them and a place at the World Cup finals in Russia next year.
"I think we are very excited to go into the game." He said. "We know it will be a very tough game against an Irish team that has done very well in qualification.
"They stick to what they have as their plan, their plan so far has been fighting and going for the counter.
"We need to be careful but of course we have to take our chances and then we will have a good chance."
Denmark, who finished second in their group five points behind Poland who qualified automatically, visit Dublin for the second leg next Tuesday also live on Sky Sports.
