Paul Merson has returned for his Premier League predictions ahead of another pivotal weekend of action in the top flight.

The weekend kicks off on Sky Sports 1 on Saturday at White Hart Lane as Tottenham host Watford, then there's a cracking Super Sunday double header before a Monday Night Football treat between Crystal Palace and Arsenal.

Tottenham v Watford, Saturday from 11.30am - live on Sky Sports 1

Tottenham had a great result at Swansea after being 1-0 down so late on. They can close the gap on Chelsea in the next couple of weeks and can put the pressure on again with a win on Saturday afternoon.

Watford got a great win in midweek over West Brom, but this should be comfortable for Tottenham.

Paul predicts: 3-0 (6/1 with Sky Bet)

Sunderland v Man Utd, Super Sunday from 12.30pm - live on Sky Sports 1

Manchester United have got Europa League in midweek and for me they've got to put all their eggs in that basket. They've had two bad results in a row and I don't think they can make the top four anymore. This is almost a game they don't need.

Sunderland did alright at Leicester in midweek but they lost again. They're down for me, but I think they'll get a draw here.

Paul predicts: 1-1 (15/2 with Sky Bet)

Everton v Leicester, Super Sunday from 3.30pm - live on Sky Sports 1

Leicester have Atletico Madrid in midweek so they'll be focused on that because they're safe from relegation now. They should make changes at Goodison Park because they need to concentrate on the Champions League.

The top four is probably done for Everton now and I think Romelu Lukaku will go in the summer, but he'll score first here and I expect them to win and end Leicester's good run.

Paul predicts: 2-1 (7/1 with Sky Bet)

Crystal Palace v Arsenal, Monday Night Football from 7pm - live on Sky Sports 1

This could be a thriller. I don't think Arsenal's defence will be able to cope with Palace's attack, and vice versa. Both sides will want to win because a draw isn't ideal for either team.

Sam Allardyce will know how to cause Arsenal problems and I think it will end up being a draw. If results go against them this weekend then it looks like the top four will be done.

Paul predicts: 2-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet)

Live Monday Night Football

Man City v Hull, Saturday 3pm

Man City need a win now because the pressure is on to finish in the top four. This is a must-win for Pep Guardiola's side and, while Hull have been good at home, they often struggle away.

But I don't see them getting anything at the Etihad, City will have too much for them.

Paul predicts: 3-0 (6/1 with Sky Bet)

Middlesbrough v Burnley, Saturday 3pm

Middlesbrough are in trouble. They finally scored some goals in midweek but then went and conceded four in an extraordinary game at Hull. Now we've seen what happens to them when they chase a football match, and Burnley could get their first away win of the season here.

Another three points will probably be enough to keep Burnley up, while if Middlesbrough lose this they're as good as down.

Paul predicts: 1-2 (11/1 with Sky Bet)

Hull 4-2 Middlesbrough

Stoke v Liverpool, Saturday 3pm

Liverpool are a weird team. When they come up against a big side you know what they'll bring. They'll come and fly at you and have a right go. Then, against the lesser teams, they just struggle.

They just can't afford any more of these draws if they want to get the top four, but Stoke were unlucky to lose in midweek at Burnley and I think they'll get a draw here.

Paul predicts: 1-1 (11/2 with Sky Bet)

West Brom v Southampton, Saturday 3pm

Southampton are another strange side. I thought Bournemouth should have beaten them, then they went and beat Palace in midweek.

West Brom had a bad result at Watford and they've been up and down lately. But they've had a good season and they won't want it to fizzle out. I think they'll get back on track here.

Paul predicts: 2-0 (12/1 with Sky Bet)

West Ham v Swansea, Saturday 3pm

What a massive, massive game this is. If Swansea win it could bring West Ham right back into the relegation battle. It's must-win for West Ham, and if they can that should see them safe, but it would put Swansea into massive trouble.

It could be a nervy one, but I think it will be a draw.

Paul predicts: 1-1 (11/2 with Sky Bet)

Bournemouth v Chelsea, Saturday 5.30pm

The pressure will be on Chelsea if Spurs win earlier in the day and make the gap closer than it's been in a while. Bournemouth are a real bag of Revels because you don't know what you're going to get from them. They could give Chelsea a real game or get absolutely thumped.

But I expect Chelsea to win this.

Paul predicts: 1-3 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
