Sky Sports football pundit Paul Merson has given us his thoughts on the race for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for October.
The Premier League field has been narrowed down to three candidates - West Ham's Dimitri Payet, Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Leicester's Jamie Vardy.
There is still time for you to cast your vote this month (voting closes at 5pm on Monday, November 2, with the winner announced on Tuesday, November 3), and you could win the chance to meet and present the award to the winning player.
As well as the Barclays Premier League award, you can also vote for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month in the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One and Sky Bet League Two.
And if you are still undecided, Merse thinks Vardy deserves to get the nod this month, despite Payet's "outstanding" form and Sanchez's key role in Arsenal's rise to second in the table.
Here's why...
Dimitri Payet - West Ham
Payet has been outstanding. The lad is top drawer and there will be a lot of managers around the country wondering how they missed him. I wouldn't say he's carried West Ham because they're a good team with good players, but he's just brought that added touch of class and guile. He has been absolutely outstanding.
Alexis Sanchez - Arsenal
He is playing in a top team, so it's a little different to the other two contenders, but he keeps on getting better and better. For someone that has played at Barcelona, his enthusiasm and work rate is incredible. He flies back from Chile and he's straight into the team, he wants to play every game. He is one of the main reasons why Arsenal are where they are.
Jamie Vardy - Leicester City
I can't talk highly enough of this guy. His enthusiasm and work rate is unparalleled and centre-halves must hate playing against him. He just never stops and he keeps on scoring goals, he has unbelievable pace and he is willing to get in behind defences. Out of the three contenders, I would give it to him because of what he's achieved. Every kid at the moment, and those in lower and non-league football, should be looking at Vardy.
