Gareth Barry has become just the third player to make 600 Premier League appearances.
The Everton midfielder, who won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2011/12 and has also represented Aston Villa in the top flight, reached the landmark on Saturday against Middlesbrough and scored a rare goal in the 3-1 win.
Ryan Giggs and Frank Lampard are the only other players to have made 600 Premier League appearances. Barry should surpass Lampard's total of 609 in the coming weeks, but Ryan Giggs' 632 may prove just out of reach this term, unless the Everton midfielder plays every match for the remainder of the season.
"It is amazing the number of games Gareth has played and he showed he was a perfect player for the team," Everton boss Ronald Koeman said of the 35-year-old.
Barry - who won 53 caps for England - made his Premier League debut in 1998 and is the only current Premier League player on the list of top 10 appearance makers.
