Arsenal signing Granit Xhaka has been named in Switzerland's Euro 2016 squad but there is no place for Philippe Senderos or Gokhan Inler.
Former AC Milan and Fulham defender Senderos, who now plays for Grasshopper Zurich, has won 55 caps for his country but has not been named in Vladimir Petkovic's 23-man squad.
Inler, formerly captain of the national side, also missed out after being omitted from the provisional 28-man squad. The Leicester City midfielder saw limited game time in the club's fairytale Premier League title win.
However, Watford's Valon Behrami, Xherdan Shaqiri of Stoke and Shani Tarashaj, who joined Everton in January, were all included.
Switzerland get their campaign under way against Albania in Lens on June 11, before Group A matches against Romania and hosts France.
The Swiss team, who went down 2-1 to Belgium on Saturday, play Moldova on Friday before travelling to their Montpellier base for the tournament.
