Martyn Waghorn leaves Killie on crutches after Rangers win
Tuesday 16 February 2016 23:15, UK
Rangers' top scorer Martyn Waghorn left Rugby Park on crutches after helping his side knock Kilmarnock out of the Scottish Cup.
Waghorn scored his side's opening goal - his 28th of the season - from the spot in a 2-1 replay win on Tuesday night that sets up a quarter-final against Dumbarton or Dundee.
But the striker's knee was injured in the incident leading to the penalty, and Mark Warburton said: "He is on crutches and we will see how he is in the morning.
"With Martyn, it was one of those ones where he locked legs as he fell. I don't know if he caught the surface or not but he has an abrasion on his knee. He took the penalty, credit to him, but we will see how he is."
Waghorn's penalty was answered by Rory McKenzie before Nicky Clark's late winner won it for Rangers.

Warburton said: "Whether you beat a Northern Premier League team or a Premier League side, you still go through or go out, it doesn't matter who you play.
"I felt we should have got a result at Ibrox but we had 9,000 fans here and had a responsibility to come and deliver the result."
New Killie boss Lee Clark left it to caretaker Lee McCulloch to pick the team against his old club.
McCulloch, who is staying on as Clark's assistant, said: "There's a lot that's encouraging there for the new manager with the young boys. He came in at half-time and full-time and said stuff before the game. I think he'll be pleased with what he saw."
