The FA Cup quarter-final replay between West Ham and Manchester United has been scheduled for Wednesday April 13.

The tie, which is required after a 1-1 draw between the sides at Old Trafford, will kick off at 7pm at Upton Park.

However, the FA may now be facing a fine from UEFA because the new date clashes with a pair of Champions League quarter final second legs.

Despite the earlier kick-off, the match will breach the UEFA rule that domestic matches must finish at least 30 minutes before the European fixtures get underway.

In a statement, the FA said: "Extensive discussions have taken place with all associated parties regarding the scheduling of this fixture, with limited options available.

"The FA recognises the agreed date may not be an ideal solution for all but believed it was the most appropriate available within the congested football calendar."
