Paul Pogba is unlikely to be heading to the Premier League this summer after telling Juventus he wants to stay with the Italian champions.

Pogba has attracted the attention of Europe's top clubs after becoming a key player for Juventus since joining from Manchester United in 2012.

The 23-year-old has won three Serie A titles since arriving in northern Italy and last season was instrumental in the club reaching the Champions League final.

He fuelled talk of a move to Manchester City last month when he said playing under incoming coach Pep Guardiola could make him a better player.

However, Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta insists the France international, who is under contract to 2019, is fully committed to the club and will not be leaving Turin anytime soon.

"Pogba is a Juventus player and still has an ongoing contract with us," said Marotta.

"Plus he has also told us about his intention to stay with us. All the conditions are there for him to continue with Juventus for the upcoming years.

"The Juventus jersey is something you honour right until the end. It is not a foregone conclusion yet that he will stay at Juventus, because nothing is ever guaranteed in football, but it is highly likely that he will stay put."
