Bournemouth have accepted an undisclosed bid from Bristol City for striker Lee Tomlin, according to Sky sources.
The 27-year-old scored six goals in 18 games for the Championship club on a loan spell last season, a healthy enough return for for City to consider a permanent switch.
Tomlin joined Bournemouth from Middlesbrough for £3m last summer, but appears to be heading for the exit door after failing to hold down a first-team place.
He made only 10 appearances for Eddie Howe's side before moving to Ashton Gate.
He has two years to run on his contract at Bournemouth and Hull City, Norwich and Newcastle have all been credited with an interest in the player.
Bristol City finished 18th in the Championship last season.
