Sky Sports investigates the effect head injuries are having on sport in a new documentary - Concussion: The Impact on Sport.
With the help of key figures from the world of Horse Racing, Football, Rugby League and Union, Sky Sports examines the growing influence the injury is having across a wide range of sports.
The featured guests include 20-time champion jockey Sir A P McCoy, 2003 Rugby World Cup winners Will Greenwood and Lewis Moody, former England football captain Terry Butcher and Sam Tomkins of the Wigan Warriors - all of whom share their own first-hand experiences of concussion.
In addition, medical experts from global sports governing bodies assess the long-term implications head injuries are having on athletes and what can be done to safeguard players now and in the future.
The documentary will also gauge the impact concussion (or CTE - chronic traumatic encephalopathy) has played on NFL players, with the injuries believed to be the cause of player suicides and other debilitating symptoms post-retirement.
