Portland Timbers got off to a dream start in the MLS Cup Final, scoring after just 27 seconds, but it is a moment Columbus Crew 'keeper Steve Clark will have nightmares about.

There appeared to be little danger when the ball was played back to Clark in the opening seconds of the match, even as Diego Valeri jogged across to try and close him down.

However, the goalkeeper miscontrolled the ball and Valeri was onto it in a flash, sliding to force the ball home as the Crew No 1 desperately tried to clear.
