Tottenham v Watford preview: Michel Vorm and Hugo Lloris missing for Spurs

Tottenham are still without Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm for Wednesday's Carabao Cup game against Watford in Milton Keynes (kick-off 8pm).

Lloris has a thigh injury, though has returned to training, while Vorm has a knee complaint. Paulo Gazzaniga looks set to keep his place in goal after playing in Saturday's 2-1 win against Brighton.

Boss Mauricio Pochettino is likely to make a number of changes at Stadium MK, with Kyle Walker-Peters, Davinson Sanchez and Victor Wanyama possibly getting game time.

Dele Alli and Erik Lamela both started on the bench in the win at Brighton and could also be handed starts.

Watford boss Javier Gracia is again expected to rotate his side. Isaac Success and Domingos Quina should be in contention, having both scored in the last round at Reading, while midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is another expected to feature.

Sebastian Prodl and Stefano Okaka are both recovering from minor problems, and Miguel Britos (thigh) is also unavailable. Captain Troy Deeney, who played against Fulham with broken toes, will be rested. Winger Gerard Deulofeu (abdominal) and Tom Cleverley (Achilles) continue their recovery.
