Sergio Aguero may edge both Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah in the scoring stakes this season, according to Tony Cottee.
The race for the Premier League golden boot is hotting up and Kane currently leads the way on 23 strikes, with Salah one goal behind.
Aguero's four goals in a 5-1 win against Leicester has pulled him straight back into contention on 21 goals.
With City's aggressive style of play, Cottee believes the blueprint is in place for Aguero to go on and claim the coveted accolade, providing he stays fit.
"I think Harry Kane is going to go very close but if Aguero stays fit, playing in that Man City team, they're going to make lots of chances," Cottee told Premier League Daily.
"I don't think Mo Salah will win the Golden Boot. He's having a fantastic season scoring goals but I do think it'll be between Kane and Aguero, possibly Aguero if he stays fit."
The three players each have 11 Premier League games remaining, with Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham all still competing in the Champions League.
All three scored during the weekend - Aguero easing City past Leicester, Kane helping Tottenham to victory over north London rivals Arsenal and Salah both scoring and assisting during Liverpool's win at Southampton.
Kane has won the honour for the last two seasons, while Aguero was last awarded the Golden Boot following the 2014/15 campaign.
